Jill Valentine is not a character within the Left 4 Dead universe; she is the iconic protagonist of Capcom's Resident Evil franchise. While both series share the same core DNA of surviving zombie outbreaks in a post-apocalyptic setting, they exist in entirely separate continuities with no canonical crossover. Fans often appreciate the thematic parallels between Jill's tactical survival skills and the cooperative gameplay of Left 4 Dead, but she has never appeared as a playable survivor or an infected enemy in any official Left 4 Dead title.
